RUSH(ES), a solo performance by Greek-Swiss visual artist and choreographer Alexandra Bachzetsis, had its UK premiere at The Hellenic Centre, with KitMapper providing and installing the rigging and AV — from projection to moving-head lighting and sound system.
The piece is built on rapid transformations that push the body to its limits, reflecting pleasure, joy, solitude and anxiety through the performer's intense physicality. It aims to provoke intuitive, immediate responses to music, space, text and movement, taking performer and audience into a heightened state of awareness.
