Resonant Matter at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, explores the spaces where music, fashion and community meet across London's underground culture — from pirate radio and street protests to sound-system culture and club nights. Archival storytelling and immersive installation come together to show how shared spaces give rise to new styles, identities and communities.
The exhibition brings together contributions from Jason Jules, the Sir Collins Archive, Tim and Barry, The Deosil and Widdershin Soundsystem, and UAL's CRiSAP. KitMapper was proud to support its technical delivery.
Resonant Matter forms part of The Music is Black Festival, an East Bank-wide programme celebrating the V&A East's inaugural exhibition, The Music is Black: A British Story.
